ABOUT

Oso Libre, meaning "Free Bear," is a family-owned boutique winery that produces very limited quantities of premium wine. Located in the Adelaida District, Oso Libre uses extended aging techniques to craft wines with character that embody the unique essence of this wine region. The winery produces Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre, Primitivo, and Viognier. Their limited-production single varietals and distinctive red blends are available to their “Free Bear” Wine Club members and in their tasting room.

Committed to stewardship and sustainability, Oso Libre is an SIP Certified (Sustainability In Practice) vineyard and winery. They employ natural vineyard management techniques and generate power through solar and wind to preserve their land for future generations.

Oso Libre is also a traditional working cattle ranch. With high standards and a "less is more" philosophy, their premium Certified Angus Beef steers are raised without hormones, corn, or stress. The cattle are grass-fed in open pastures, enjoying free-range grasses and water from flowing creeks.
