Caliza Winery is looking for a Hospitality & Wine Club Associate to assist Caliza Winery’s DTC Manager in all duties related to hospitality, wine club, and shipping, along with coordinating virtual tastings and hosting in-person & virtual wine tastings. Candidates should be dynamic, flexible, a self-starter, and able to adapt to the wineries’ frequently changing needs and the company’s growth.

Tasting Room/Hosting tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Set up & break down of inside & outside tasting room daily at either Caliza Winery or End of the Day Wines locations.
• Provide outstanding hospitality & education of Caliza’s wines, vineyard & winemaking styles.
• Work collaboratively with a small team in a teamwork-oriented tasting room environment.
• Drive wine & wine club sales.
• Assist with winery operations at times such as bottling, labeling, and other cellar operations projects as needed.

Wine Club tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Prompt response to any club-related emails or phone calls.
• Organization of special requests, and upkeep of ongoing club modifications.
• Shipping management including tracking and submitting claims for lost or damaged packages.
• In-house shipping coordination, including ordering shipping supplies.
• Maintain our CRM and POS with up-to-date customer notes, Wine Direct knowledge preferred.

Administrative Assisting tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Daily involvement with customer communication, including responding to tasting room & wine club inquiries whether by email or by phone and prompt response.
• Daily involvement with website orders & coordination of shipping via in-house or fulfillment,

Marketing tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Assist in creating social media content according to our social media strategy.
• Assist in crafting innovative, and effective email campaigns.
• Assist in crafting printed materials for events or tasting room specials. Knowledge in Canva or InDesign preferred.
• Assist in the planning of special events and experiences at our winery.
• Keep in touch with wholesale accounts including phone calls, emails, and visits if local.
• Keep in touch with peer wineries for referrals.

Skills Needed
• Organization – Ability to manage multiple tasks and execute responsibilities in priority order.
Customer Service – Exemplify consistent delivery of exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Technology – Develop a complete knowledge of our POS (Wine Direct) and reservation system (Tock).
• Social Media – Knowledge of current trends and practices for all social media channels.
• Wine Presentation – Ability to serve customers and/or event participants using comprehensive knowledge of wine and the brand. While wine knowledge is a plus, we will train a great candidate. The desire and willingness to learn with ambition is a must!
• Sales – Utilize skills via phone, email, and in the tasting rooms to sell winery products and services to customers with both winery goals and customer needs in mind.
• Communication – Effectively communicate with all team members and customers.
• Marketing – Contribute creative ideas for member promotions, club acquisitions, and retention strategies.
• Administrative – Strong computer, written, phone, and interpersonal skills to communicate with other employees, customers, vendors, and clients, is required.

Qualifications of the job:
• Previous wine experience is a plus.
• Previous experience with MailChimp is a plus.
• Previous experience with Wine Direct or a similar point-of-sale system is a plus.
• Previous experience with Tock or a similar reservation management system is a plus.
• Energetic, positive, and outgoing “People-Person”.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen & take direction.
• Interest in and willingness to learn the wine business.
• Must be over 21, able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work independently, and in a team setting.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Proven track record of following company guidelines.

Vintrace is seeking an experienced and energetic Sales Executive to identify opportunities to extend vintrace business relationships with new and existing clients. The Sales Executive is part of the Sales team and reports to the Chief Growth Officer. They will drive interest in new products by collaborating with the Marketing team on campaigns and communications. The Sales Executive will receive and track incoming leads from the website, email, and also from the the Support, Onboarding, Sales, and Services teams. In addition, they will work with Product Managers to share field feedback and input regarding product direction.

The Sales Executive will accurately and completely represent Product capabilities to customers and take customers through Demo, Discovery and Contract Close, then the Business Development Executive will collaborate with the Onboarding team to hand off the project for execution. This person will be responsible for tracking target market, number of sales leads generated, percentage of leads closed and other metrics for identified products and reporting these metrics to the executive team. Travel is expected for this position in terms of attending select industry trade shows/conferences as well as relevant onsite customer demos and implementations.

Responsibilities
Build Brand Awareness: Communicates value and fills the sales pipeline

Build subscriber numbers and maximize ARR/MRR in existing markets through proactive sales activities and targets

Manage growth of new global markets for existing and new product offerings

Lead Management: Track leads, customer notes, and progress

Product Feedback: Provide timely and constructive feedback to Product Managers based on input from the sales cycle; Participate in Release Planning Sessions (manager lunch and learns, etc.)

Onboarding Handoff: Collaborate with the onboarding team to ensure customer expectations about the Product and the Project are accurately set and the Onboarding team is aware of all relevant requirements and those requirements are documented

Marketing: Collaborate with the Marketing team to create effective campaigns and materials for target Products; this may include sales sheets, email campaigns, blog posts, trade show booths, webinars, etc. Deliver webinars and UGM presentations upon request

Metrics: Work with VP/CEO to identify key metrics; develop dashboards to report on metrics and share with internal teams through quarterly reviews

Travel: Represent vintrace products at select trade show and customer events, and customer demos as needed. Participate in selected onboarding activities as part of cross training and process development

Customer Relationship Management: Follow up with Customer Stakeholders for each deal to confirm that expectations were met and the project was successfully completed. Update the Onboarding team when customers change tiers or add new functionality–the goal is to ensure smooth upgrades in the future

Additional Details
This role will receive a competitive salary + commission + benefits. The salary for US-based employees located in the below markets may expect offers in the below ranges for this role.

Hiring Range: $75,000 – $100,000 annually plus commission
